AVFX and other partners provided production support for WaveForms 2024, a multimedia art experience presented by Museum of Science Boston.
On one special night, Midway Artist Studios in Fort Point, Boston, came to life with artwork activations featuring regional artists from Boston and beyond. Presented by Museum of Science Boston, WaveForms 2024 featured projection-mapped video installations, spatial audio, experimental animation, video art, and AV performance.
WaveForms is an annual multimedia art experience presented by Museum of Science Boston. This year, the museum partnered with MASARY Studios, along with ARTICO, Boston Cyberarts, Boston Lyric Opera, ILLUMINUS, MIT Spatial Sound Lab, and AVFX. Together, this team provided space, equipment, production, curation, and mentorship.
The most rewarding partnerships elevate each party’s talents while showcasing the magic of collaboration. True moments of awe are rare, which is why we at AVFX are so deeply honored to have the opportunity to play a role in creating such moments.
Thank you to everyone who attended, to the artists who participated, and to the dedicated partners who came together to create and produce the event this year. In particularly, thanks go out to MASARY Studios for their vision and to all who contributed for their amazing artistic contributions and their commitment to showcasing artists in the Boston Area.
Together, this exceptional team created an event attendees will long remember.
