WBUR worked with AVFX and AE Events to put a virtual twist on their premier annual fundraising event (known as the WBUR Gala). This event represented the transformation of the station’s annual premier fundraising gala into a virtual event. AVFX recognizes the importance of independent public journalism and underwrites WBUR programming.
The gathering allowed WBUR supporters to join for an exciting virtual program featuring special guests including Conan O’Brien, NPR Weekend Edition host Scott Simon, and Michael Barbaro and Lisa Tobin, hosts and executive producers of The New York Times The Daily podcast. AVFX Media Production Services custom-developed all graphic design and animation.
