Recently, AVFX had the privilege of supporting Revolutionary Spaces’ Immersive Experience Project fundraiser, an initiative that aims to reimagine the Old South Meeting House as an orientation theater and a gateway to the Freedom Trail. Using cutting-edge technology and compelling storytelling, this project promises to bring history to life like never before.
Old South Meeting House Immersive Experience
The Immersive Experience will honor the Old South Meeting House’s rich history—an 18th-century building where pivotal events such as the Boston Tea Party and the Boston Massacre orations unfolded. While preserving its historic architecture, the project will transform the space into a dynamic, 21st-century experience. Through state-of-the-art audio and visual technology, visitors will be transported back in time, immersed in the founding story of America in a way that is engaging, inclusive, and unforgettable.

As part of the fundraiser, Revolutionary Spaces is calling on the community to help raise $500,000 by December 31, 2024, to bring this ambitious project to life. Thanks to a generous matching grant from the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism, every dollar raised for the Immersive Experience up to $212,500 will be doubled, amplifying your impact.
