For three days at the Hynes Convention Center, a record number of attendees—from all corners of the globe—met in Boston for the IFS World Conference. The conference highlighted the launch of IFS Applications 9, their premier global ERP platform. The show producer, First Protocol (London), selected AVFX Boston to provide audio visual support for the IFS Sponsor Trade Show.
IFS is a global enterprise software vendor, founded in 1983, with over 2,800 employees and 50 offices around the world.
The main challenge for AVFX was to transform a naked show space in the Hynes Convention Center into a comfortable environment for learning and networking. In the words of IFS, “teaching true business agility, helping people turn change into a business advantage.” AVFX also created 10 breakouts, training and press rooms.
A three-sided message board of 9 x 16 foot screens flew above the room to keep the audience up-to-date. 20 custom gobos lit the room with branded graphics. An array of 70 lights on a substantial truss flew above the audience, plus engineered audio was used to create the ambiance.
AVFX collaborated with First Protocol for months—planning and developing CAD drawings, then dedicated 20 technicians to execute three packed days of breakout sessions, world-leading technology, training, and networking. The response was overwhelmingly positive. We’d love to work with the Brits again.
